Day 4: 10-Minute Guided Meditation for Inner Peace — Protect #1027

Daily Meditation Podcast | Jul 29 2026 | 00:12:40

Welcome back.

We've released, we've rested, we've grounded through the breath. Today, we turn toward something a little different: protection.

Not protection as in defense or walls — but protection as in creating a steady, stable boundary around your own peace, so it isn't so easily disturbed by everything happening around you.

Today's Practice: Prithvi Mudra

Today's 10-minute meditation uses Prithvi Mudra, the earth mudra — a simple hand gesture used in yogic tradition to cultivate stability, security, and a sense of steady ground beneath you.

To form it: gently touch the tip of your ring finger to the tip of your thumb, keeping your other three fingers extended and relaxed. Rest your hands on your knees, palms facing up.

We'll hold this mudra throughout the meditation, using it as a physical anchor for the feeling of being steady and protected — no matter what's happening around you.

💛 Daily Message for Your Heart

You are allowed to protect your peace.

You don't need permission to create boundaries around what keeps you steady. Guarding your calm isn't selfish — it's how you stay able to show up for everything else.

🌙 Sleep Softly Tonight

Before bed tonight, try this:

  1. Lie down and bring your hands into Prithvi Mudra, resting them gently on your stomach or at your sides.
  2. Take a slow breath in, and imagine a soft, steady boundary forming around you — like a quiet room just for your rest.
  3. With each exhale, let that boundary settle a little more firmly in place.
  4. Stay here for a few minutes, breathing naturally, held and protected.

Let this steady ground carry you into sleep tonight.
